Peter was the very 1st to ask me if I accept commissions online, and he asked me that almost 2 years ago, days after I first joined DA. And now that I do accept commissions, he was again the 1st to ask me for an artwork. I just hope he doesnt mind my taking liberty to tweak the mask a bit.
Wow!! The mask doesn't look too bad, it looks like a Green Lantern's mask now, which makes sense I guess. My only complaint is that maybe her breasts are too large; when I designed Thundermare, I intentionally designed her with smaller-than-average breasts as my way of making a statement against all the comic book heroines who have heaving DD breasts (which are all of them!). Also, where are her boots?
I love the 60's cartoonish style you used, though, and it's still an AMAZING picture!!!
On a side note, I realized that you're from the Phillipines - Thundermare is actually half Phillipino (on her mother's side), which is why her "weapons of choice" are her eskrima sticks, which are a weapon developed in the Phillipines (and killed Ferdinand Magellon!).
Ha, that's really cool! My family is pretty sure that "tulay" is Czechoslovakian, but I like hearing of what it might mean in other languages (it's not a very common word!). Thanks for sharing that!

Whoa, she's half Filipino? wow! That makes me glad that I had the chance to draw her man!
Well, I'M glad you had a chance to draw her! In your message to me, tell me which email I should use to wire the money to.
And hey, your surname (Tulay) actually sounds Filipino. It means "bridge" in our vernacular.
