Description
Preliminary pencils for a commissioned piece featuring legendary heroes Alan Scott and Dr. Fate of Justice Society of America.
I guess an experienced inker could take it from here, but since this is a commission, I gotta tighten it a bit. (But I thought, if I get to be paired with a regular inker, that would definitely help me turn over pages to editors faster LOL).

this is pretty nice man, how'd this turn out? I just got the Blackest Night hardcover and it shows Ivan Reis's pencils for the covers....
You might want to try going between this style and the fully rendered style you did in the final drawing. With a drawing like this, an inker is going to most likely ad a LIL bit of flair, but they won't do the blacks and shadows you created in the fina, they'll probably stick strictly to this and the colorish will have to be good or the piece could be ruined....
I suggest you do the final rendering like in the final of this to make sure things go how you want them to, ya know?
