Evolution of a Comic Artist
My gallery being on a hiatus for like 2 weeks already doesn't mean I should be posting my own pics, I know. But since the year's about to end, I thought it would be nice to share with you some photos from the past, and a probable future (oh please say it ain't so!). Anyway...
a. Me circa 1989: always been a Batman fan. 10-year old me alongside my younger brother who's trying to imitate Burt Wards Robin (we hardly missed an episode of the 60s Batman TV series then. WHAMMO!).
b. Me circa 1997: a Psychology major sophomore who draws and paints comic book characters as a hobby.
c. The Guidance Counselor: the job that made me a better, more matured person (2000-2008).
d. The Mens Health guy: helping the magazine inspire overweight people to start living a healthy lifestyle (2005-2007).
e. At the KOMIKON November 2007: My debut as an independent comic book artist
f. What I would be like at least a year from now if I dont try to squeeze in regular gym time in my schedule.
